The introduction of a few more friends

 Hi hello! Well im back again with a few sentences about our newest circle of buddies..

…Ms. Penelope Star!

 She is in love with her career as a kindergarten teacher, each child made to feel important and special in her classroom.

Her ultimate sweet obsession is def black forest cake! Yummy, May we have a slice Ms. Star? 

.Next in our line up tonight is Nastassja Ward, a five star chef at one of our finest hotels:

And her favorite treat is a Mango Chilli freeze:

Then we have Imogen keene who is an esthetician..she spends most of her time focusing on skin care and its repair. Her fav sweet treat is not sweet but savory, well kinda:

Those teeny corn holders are the cutest things i own. I mean really!!

After Imogen we have Luchien, she is an airline stewardess with stories from around the world. Her treat is anything with alcohol and an umbrella…

See what i mean, haha! 

Dita louise is next on our roster…Dites is a country turned city gal…she is a featured showgirl in las Vegas. Her favorite treat is pistachio cup cakes;

Here we have Micah Charles Roker. He is also Harlon Hills boyfriend for the past couple of years.. Micah is an Infrastructure Engineer and like Rowan he doesn't eat sweets so his favourite treat is a big bowl of hot salty Ramen!!

Lastly we have Charlie Reese and like Dita Louise she is a dancer. Repping in places like NYC, Toronto and LA. She has danced in many celebrity shows, her favourite was Janet Jackson's  velvet rope tour. And her treat is a leftover from her last visit to Paris..  Macarons!!

Sleepover party!

    The girls were all keyed up from Christmas and New Years so we decided to go with the flow and have a sleepover party! A few phone calls later and all of a sudden I had 10 screaming Barbies running around in their cutest pyjamas at my house (no Micah was not invited). How did my collection get so BIG?? All I could do was laugh and giggle at all of the antics they got into last night:  

First up was Dita and Sloane, they immediately  got out The Burn Book and started writing. This peculiar book did not hold insults or claims to fame tho.. rather it was used instead by my gals as an inspirational journal, a place where they could reflect honestly inward as well as encourage others…poetry and quotes were also given their due…

Since the kitchen is still in major disarray due to construction, we were reduced to ordering in pizza. Without any  baked goods in the house, (I had eaten the last of my bday cake) we had no sweets except for ice cream so we ate that too!

Nastassja and Root beer became good friends,

..while Imogen googled celebrities and shopped for more shoes..

Penelope Star was snorting with laughter as she prank called random numbers

The rest of the night was a blur of hair braiding, nail painting, face masking and an assortment of raucous laughter and deep conversations about boys. Most of the girls gratefully went to sleep finally about one am, except for Nelly, Dita and Luchien. Those three stayed up till the sun rose gossiping, dreaming, arguing and eating:

SURPRISE!!!

 It was just a quiet thursday night, Harlon and Micah were busy nuzzling on the couch while Boa perused a couple of favorite cookbooks; fantasising about her new (soon to be finished) kitchen. *Sigh

 

Boa was just sinking her teeth into some chocolate croissants and a frosty iced coffee when the doorbell rang…

… Who could that be asked Harlon looking at the clock: 7:30 pm.

SURPRISE!!

Omg it was Rowan and Sloane with a gaggle of giggling girls!! Come inside laughed Boa!

Ive got the refreshments!! Luchien bounded in..

Ok ok Ive got the presents Sloane said as she shuffled in, taking her pumps off with relief…

Hi girls! Said Nastassja, Ive got the flowers!! Everyone moved into the dining room following behind behind the twins ..

It wouldnt be a party without a birthday cake Penelope Star declared making space on the large table there.

Who wants a piece of cake?! It looks amazing breathed Harlon, obviously surprised! Thank you so much guys, Boa and Harlon were both stunned and happy.. very happy to have such a great thoughtful bunch of friends.  Time to open some gifts… oh gosh not one but two bottles of their favorite parfum… so you dont have to share explained Rowan smiling wide, love ya gals… Awww we love y’all back 100%
